At Insurely we are changing the game within the insurance industry. We are now looking to strengthen our team with a part-time, and fixed term contract, Insurance Specialist based in Stockholm. At Insurely, we collect, organize and enable the access to consumer’s insurance information. As an Insurance Specialist, you will have the opportunity and play a pivotal role in leveraging your expertise to further develop and maintain our products, as well as, to support its expansion into new markets.

In this role, you will be a part of, and contribute to, a transformation of the insurance industry!

How you'll be part of changing an industry

Your key responsibilities will be to: 

1. Insurance policies content mapping:
   - You will work directly with our Product & Engineering teams to build a data dictionary of insurance policies coverages. 
   - You will map, and maintain, insurance policies documents from most insurance companies towards the designed dictionary. 

2. Develop our products: 
   - You will work together with our Product Managers and Designers to develop a roadmap of improvements to our products. 
   - You will be an advocate for the best  experience with regards to how we show and compare  insurance coverage to consumers. 
   - You will be an advocate for how we show insurance coverage information to insurance advisors using our products.
   - You will work together with external contractors to expand our data model and product globally.

3. Disseminate Insurance industry knowledge:
   - Host training sessions across different teams and be an evangelist of best practices. 

4. Market research:
   - You will research competitors, their strengths and weaknesses, and access their product quality.
   - You will support new sales deals by advancing market research on data availability. 

What we look for 

We are seeking a highly skilled person, with a preference for candidates who possess a strong background in the insurance data domain and expertise in providing advice to consumers. As an Insurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging your expertise to enhance our insurance products and drive data-informed decision-making.

Requirements 

• You have previous experience in reading and interpreting insurance policies and understand the insurance conditions' meanings. 

• You have intermediary Google Sheets skills.

• You have project management experience and have managed projects from start to finish.

• Professional English written and verbal communication. 

Preferred qualifications 

• Previous experience in providing insurance and risk management advice to consumers.

• Previous experience working in an Insurance company, specifically in risk management, underwriting as well as data & analytics areas.

Soft skills

• You are structured: you plan, organize and prioritize the workload in an efficient way. You set up and keep time-frames. 

• You are highly goals and results driven with an agile mindset to be able to quickly adapt to changes in direction when the goals are revised. 

• You are a master of collaboration and working together with multi-disciplinary teams.
